Summer at the Sixth

Who Are We

The Sixth Avenue Community Development Corporation (a 501c3 nonprofit organization) exists to ensure children and families have access to high-quality out of school programming. We currently achieve this goal through our after-school learning program during the academic year and our Summer at the Sixth camp during the summer.

Why Summer at the Sixth

We believe summer is for making memories, exposure to new challenges, and fun with friends. Summer at the Sixth helps build confidence and character, and shapes children’s interests in arts, sports, academics, and potential careers. Ninety-five percent (95%) of our families return each summer and share their experiences with family and friends. Our high-energy summer camp keeps kids engaged through hands-on learning, creative exploration, field trips, and fun. Campers leave with new skills, new friends, and a renewed love for learning. Join us this summer for Camp Around the World, where campers will experience music, art, food, and languages from cultures all around the world!
